Spurs finish a strong second half to ultimately defeat the Cavs at the Quicken Loans Arena (110-94)

CLEVELAND-- The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered through their second home loss to the San Antonio Spurs (110-94) since the All-Star break.

LeBron James managed to score a game-high 31 points, but that wasn't enough for the Cavaliers to hold the Spurs back from going full force during the fourth quarter.

LaMarcus Aldridge carried the San Antonio Spurs with 27 points, and six rebounds in the game.

During the first quarter, the Spurs came out strong. They were shooting at a good percentage, making three-pointers and keeping Cleveland on the perimeter. The final score going into the second quarter was 25-20 Spurs.

LeBron turned up the heat during the second quarter and out ran much of the Spurs' defense, putting the Cavs in the lead by a basket or two. Spurs stayed in the game, scoring 16 points; that was ultimately not enough and the Cavaliers take the lead at halftime 53-50.

Turning point:

Danny Green started the third quarter with three free throws and followed it with 6 points from Dejounte Murray and a big play from Pau Gasol.

Kyle Korver responded to this by bringing the Cavs right back up with the Spurs, but Kyle Anderson turned on the heat and killed the Cavaliers momentum with a layup. The score is 89-77 with the Spurs leading halfway through the fourth quarter.

Kyle Anderson rejected LeBron's shot from behind, LeBron let the ref know that he was not happy with the play and received a technical foul. Spurs win 110-94.

Game Trends: There were 11 ties and 15 lead changes during this game.

Head Coach Tyrone Lue of Cleveland Cavaliers: "We just had a rough night shooting the basketball. It’s going to happen. I thought defensively we were pretty good. (San Antonio) ended up shooting 44 percent but at halftime they shot 34 percent. Overall, we did some good things but we still have to continue to get better."
